China placed Shenzhen & Dongguan into lockdown for at least a week started from Monday, 13th March; all bus and subway systems were shut, and businesses, except those providing essential services, have been closed. 80% of Amtek’s productivity is located in this area, so there will be no production, no samples, and no shipments during this period of time.

The lockdown is expected to last until March 20, and so far we don’t know yet how much productivity will be impacted; moreover, the epidemic in Hong Kong is still severe, all transportation are effected.
Amtek has production lines for some pin headers, female headers, box headers, and wafer/ housing/ terminal in Taiwan where the production runs normally, so if you have urgent requirement, please contact your sales.
We can’t control the development of the epidemic, but we can plan our stock and demand in advance, please do check your stock from time to time and place orders in advance to secure the better cost and delivery.
